One Tree Planted

Here at For.m Design we use only solid wood so that each piece of custom furniture can have a successful second life.  We utilize reclaimed materials collected locally, salvaged diseased, dead, or end of life trees. Repurpose wood, steel, stone, glass from old furniture. We utilize each part of a tree from the bark in our resin cast, to sawdust and shavings which are bagged and given to local trucking companies to clean oil and chemical spills from truck beds, to providing bedding for Cattle on local farms.

Each piece of furniture produced is sealed with one of two products, a zero VOC hard wax or food grade tung oil.  Steel is powder coated or finished with a salad grade vinegar wash and hard wax depending the desired patina. All of our furniture is 100 percent bio-degradable. It is our responsibility to use our natural resources wisely so that generations to come can do the same.
